My Words

This is where you will find a collection of poems, lyrics, and songs that I have written. The list is pretty small right now, but I hope to add more as I find time to not only be inspired but to be able to articulate myself via the written word.

It first started out as just rhyming in poems then branched out into a couple songs and then eventually freestyling. Maybe one day I’ll my own lyrics sung by a major artist.

Summer Romance. Short but sweet

I Got Game. Just a few verses. Freestyle. Kinda cocky.

My Heart. What it feels like to have felt something from someone’s else’s heart and to have to leave that person in an instant.

Tell Me. Published on February 15th, 2008. It didn’t take me long to write it. Obviously, it’s about love.

A Poem for the 2008 Season. Published on January 16th, 2008. Again, it took me no longer than 30 minutes to write this. I was inspired to write this because I know one of the annual new year’s resolutions of most people is to go out and meet new people and make new friends. Based on my own observation, I felt that most people never quite lived up to this goal. Through my words, I try to express and acknowledge how tough it is to meet new people but how wonderful it can be as well.
