When An Old Man Yells Racist Remarks At You.

This happened to me over the weekend;

I was driving through the parking lot of a shopping center. I saw this old grouchy looking man with poofy hair trying to crossing my path. He was talking on his cell phone at the same time. I waited for him to cross but he sure was taking a long time just to cross me. All of a sudden, he gives me a wierd staredown. Never one to back down, I decided to give him a stare down myself. You know, the “Why are you staring at me cause I’ll stare you down too” look.

In those few seconds of a staredown, he slows down even more and walks past my driver side and says something to me. I couldn’t quite figure out what he said as I had the window rolled up.

Apparently, this man wants to rumble with me or something. So I rolled down my window and said that he needs to walk faster. As I pulled away (there were cars behind me), he starts yelling all sorts of racist asian expletives at me.

Man! I was so ready to rumble with this geezer. Or at the least, get out of my car and face him. But I realized that I only be holding up traffic and it wasn’t worth it to go against an irrational geezer like him. But still, I just had this urge to antagonize him more. It’s apparent that that he is easily antagonized. I know I should just walk away and it has nothing with me being the better man. I already know that I am. But sometimes I just wanna….

Know what I mean?
