Walking away and always looking back. I've walked away, and I watched other walk away. Which is harder on the heart? It's equal, in it's own true respect. To walk away from anyone, under the right circumstances (not for selfish reasons), is the greatest act of generosity and true sign of love. It's knowing that you were in someones' life for a reason or season, and that it's time has passed. It's being generous enough to know the other half of the heart ache will continue to grow and flourish at the company of another. It's being honest enough to know that you too, have not yet encountered the partner of your lifetime. In your heart ache, allow yourself to mourn, for it surely must have been a beautiful experience. Mourning knows no precise time, it is there for respectful reflection upon the significance one has had in your life. Treasure the fond memories, savor the lessons of a human relationship and walk confidently into your destiny, which is guaranteed to be bigger, brighter and filled with even more love, as a reward for having honored your destiny.

OK, OK, I'm in a mushy mood this am & reflective myself as I'm just up the road from Abbey Studios and I can hear the lyrics to "Yesterday".

Cheers to my brother in (ch)arms ;-)
